Small Warriors - Mutsuki-class were 1920s-era small destroyers. 12 ships built 1926-1927. Four 4.7-inch guns + six 24-inch torpedoes. High speed (37 knots). Smallest IJN destroyers in WWII. All 12 saw combat - 9 lost in action, 3 survived war but scrapped. Kikuzuki first IJN destroyer sunk by aircraft (Tulagi, May 1942).
